Compressor Plant - Winter Exterior #3

This previously unreleased shot from the December 2000 shoot at the Turner Valley Gas Plant depicts fascinating symmetry. I've often wondered if those who design purely functional structures and equipment like this ever give any thought to the aesthetic properties of what they create.

With a full moon shining on fresh fallen snow, this was a very bright night. I was shooting at half of my normal exposure times.
