Interior View

Gutted by fire in 1953, all that remains of the interior is one huge machine, spanning the building from top to bottom. This is a tricky place to explore at night. It is darker than usual in here since most of the interior has been blackened by soot. I would imagine that all the coal dust from when it was in operation hasn't helped matters either. One must tread cautiously in a place like this to avoid stepping off the edge of a dismantled catwalk, or grasping for a missing railing and falling 60+ feet to one's death.
