Photo #N19-16Mohawk Tipple
Rear Exterior

I returned to the ruins of the Mohawk Tipple in November of 2001 to round out the series of photos I began with my first shoot over a year earlier. This time I encountered some great sky conditions with lots of moving cloud which I was able to exploit in several of these shots. It was very windy though, which meant taking care in placing my tripod to avoid it being blown over. It also warranted extra caution in navigating this structure. Note the crumbling ceiling in Wide Exterior #3. I was standing on that in a 40 Mph wind to get this shot.
