I
discovered the remains of Ryerson earlier in the day while exploring along
Highway 8 in the Southeastern corner of the province. By the way, Highway
8 is the worst road on earth. No wonder everybody left Ryerson! That's the
funny thing about rural Saskatchewan. They've got some of the smoothest gravel
roads anywhere but the remote highways will knock your fillings out! On occasion
I've actually driven parallel to a highway on the nearest gravel road in an
attempt to preserve what's left of the Starving Artist Van's front end.
I arrived back at Ryerson just before midnight and worked under a variety
of sky conditions before moving on.
